Moving Made Easy With Marlene
Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, I am proud to be fluent in Portuguese, thanks to my family's heritage from Portugal. My husband's family, on the other hand, is originally from California but has been living in Cornelius and Hilton Head for over 25 years. With our boys and furry friend, we made the move 10 years ago to be closer to our family, and we absolutely adore it here!
Real estate runs in my family, with my father being a successful home builder in his day and my sister owning her own real estate firm in Canada. After graduating from the University of Waterloo and working for a telecom firm in sales, I became an active Domestic CEO managing a bustling household of boys and our four-legged companion.
My passion for education and building relationships with people fuels my desire to provide honest and transparent services to help you achieve your real estate goals. With my personal experience of relocating to a new state and country, I understand the challenges that come with the process. That's why I am committed to delivering a seamless and stress-free move to the best of my abilities.

Little Smiles of North Carolina
Little Smiles of North Carolina is very near and dear to our family. My mother-in-law, Margi Kyle, is the founder of the North Carolina chapter of Little Smiles. As a mom, she knows all too well the countless hours spent in a hospital with a child as her son (my husband) broke his neck when he was 15 years old and spent months in the hospital. It was because of the excellent care he received that he was able to fully recover. As a family, we volunteer as much as we can and I have decided to donate a portion of every sale to the North Carolina chapter of Little Smiles in an effort to keep kids smiling, during difficult times.
